Structure Fire Training
In October 2010, the Dunnigan Fire District hosted a live training burn. Instructors and safety personnel were from Willow Oak Fire, West Plainfield Fire, Woodland Fire, West Sacramento Fire, U.C. Davis Fire and Dixon Fire.
On day one the firefighters were given a briefing on what to expect from the training and to make sure everyone "plays" safely. Additional firefighters include Capay Valley Fire and Dunnigan Fire. Close to 30 personnel participated in the training.
