The Dunnigan Volunteer Firefighters Association is a non-profit organization that has one or two main fundraisers each year. The big fundraiser is our annual dinner/dance held on the first Saturday in December. We served approximately 200 people at the dinner/dance which included an outstanding raffle made possible by our donors. We finished the night with dancing to music performed by Northern Heat. Another fundraiser is held in August at the annual Yolo County Fair. Every other year we operate a beer booth along with the Zamora Fire Department. This helps to bring in money to both departments.
