In the event of another major fire similar to the 1997 fire residents of the Hardwood Subdivision may be evacuated.  The Dunnigan Fire Training Center (DFTC) located at 29133 Main Street will be used as a meeting point for families and a shelter for those needing one.

Following the instructions of the officials ordering the evacuation will help for a quick, safe and orderly event.

There are two routes from the Hardwood Subdivision to the DFTC.  The first route is the shortest and probably more common and that is east on Road 4 to Road 99W, right (south) on Road 99W to Main Street then left (east) on Main Street.

During a major event the route on Road 99W may not be available and you will be directed to go west on Road 4 to Road 88 then left (south) to Road 6 then left (east) to Road 99W.

The intersection of Roads 99W and 4 "A" may be used as a staging area for fire apparatus.
